you assume the role of an all knowing
Prophet sent to this world by God
to speak truths that only you and you
alone believe.
you open the mouths of unknowing 'non-believers'
and stuff your beliefs and ideals
down their throats and watch,
smiling, as they gag on them and
then regurgitate them into the mouths
of children.
it's a vicious cycle, this world. you're
told to believe things you know little
about and in turn tell your children
to believe things that they know
nothing about - only what they are told.
corrupting them and condemning them
to a life in hell if they so much
as swear.
and where is the point in that, when
these children are forced to raise hands
to ask to use the bathroom
yet are meant to walk the gangplank
to a robed man and take
the body of Christ in their
mouths- not by choice, mind you,
but because, like everything else,
they are told to.
and as their minds are like putty:
malleable, easy to manipulate.
you use this to your
advantage, abusing their minds, forcing
them to believe things that you
yourself may question from time to
time.
and I refuse to let you
manipulate my mind,
to let you force your
beliefs on me, to let
you be anything other
than a robed man upon
your self-made alter.

I am not against religion of any kind.
Y'all are free to believe in anything and everything you want, and it's none of my business.
This is not about God, Jesus, a priest, my religion, your religion- whatever that may be, your place of worship or my place of worship.
It is simply my outlook on a family members take on being a stuck up, pious, bible-basher, and his twisted way of making everything he says to be the ultimate truth in his eyes. That and the way he treats his kids.
